Genotype x environment interaction in the iron and zinc biofortification of common bean grains

Bean breeding programs have focused on the generation of early bush cultivars with higher yields, commercial acceptance and resistance to crop-limiting diseases. This study prioritized nutritional quality in terms iron (Fe) zinc (Zn) content bean grains grown three high tropical environments. Two five climbing were evaluated. The mineral was determined atomic absorption spectroscopy. results indicated that genotypes Bacatá Bianca are biofortified Fe Zn cultivar Sutagao is Zn. Statistical differences found between (G), environments (E) GxE interactions. According AMMI stability value (ASV), Sutagao, Iraca stable, whereas Bacatá, which one highest quality, moderately stable. Simijaca environment showed an adequate edaphic contribution production quality.
